Kona Ice is Coming Next Week- Kona Ice will be at BES on Friday, November 14th for students! All funds raised from Kona Ice sales will support BES programs. Students may bring money beginning Tuesday, November 11.

Beanstack- Beanstack Reading App Is Here! 

Parents, have you had a chance to get started with the Beanstack app? It’s not hard to get your student connected using the bookmark that you were given at Conferences.  It’s exciting to see their motivation to read books at home, and then track their minutes using the app!   If you need help getting started, or the information from the bookmark to for your child, please email Mrs. Myers at myerse@usd450.net. 

Calling All Veterans- We are excited to welcome all veterans to BES on November 11th at 2:30 pm for a drive-thru parade. If you have a loved one attending please take a second and RSVP for your veteran by clicking here.

We have had a busy few weeks in art! 

Kinders have been working hard in their ABC drawing books, and making their Veterans’ day marble paint art!

1st graders finished their Frankensteins, and  Veterans’ day art by using lots of different materials! They even drew and colored a cute little turkey!

2nd graders finished their Pledge of Allegiance day art for their Veterans!

3rd graders drew awesome Bald Eagles for Veteran’s day! 

4th and 5th graders finished up their concert art and had their joined practice!

6th graders painted rocks and are starting a school wide anti-bullying campaign throughout the school! They also drew poppies and used watercolors to finish their Veteran’s day art!

Thank you for everyone who came to the 4th and 5th grade music program and art show! It was a hit and the kids loved see all of their art on display!
