3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th grade students started their Valentine's Day art projects this week! They were able to choose from 6 different artists and make heart inspired art by one of their artist's famous pieces!

2nd grade read The Wish Tree and created a winter landscape art using tempera cakes! The Wish Tree is a cute story by Chris Turnham about a boy named Charles wants to find a wish tree. His brother and sister don't believe there is such a thing, but his trusty companion Boggan is ready to join Charles on a journey to find out. And along the way, they discover that wishes can come true in the most unexpected ways. The second graders are painting a winter landscape scene from this book!
1st grade did paper weaving for their bear's sweater! They loved weaving and really enjoyed doing it! Kinders finished up this week by painting their mountains and finishing their Ted Harrison art piece.
With all this amazing art being done, that means that there are new student arts of the month!
6th- Louie , 5th Tinley for her Northern lights, and Gabby for her winter mountain ranges. 4th student artist is Avery, 3rd is Riley, 2nd is Dawson. 1st grade's students artist is Zada and Kinders is Annelise. Congratulations to all of these amazing student artists!
