Parade, Game, and Dance

Homecoming Parade is on October 3, 2025, starting at 1:30pm. Shawnee Heights Road will be closed from 1:20pm until the end of the parade.

Homecoming Football Game is October 3, 2025. Heights vs. DeSoto Starts at 7:00pm

Homecoming Dance will be held on October 4, 2025, from 7:00 to 10:00pm. No admittance after 8:15pm. This is a semi-formal event!

Parent/Teacher Conferences

Teachers will be available for fall parent teacher conferences starting Tuesday, October 21st from 4pm-8pm and Thursday, October 23rd from 8am-8pm.

While you're at parent teacher conferences please check out the Lost & Found to see if anything belongs to your student. This is always located in the office, but will be on a table in the cafeteria during conferences.

2026 Junior & Senior Prom Fundraiser

Thank you to everyone who has already made a donation! We're off to a great start with $400 raised so far! We have 19 days left to reach our $4,000 goal for the 2026 Junior & Senior Prom.

Your support helps cover the venue, DJ, photographer, and food, allowing us to offer prom free for Seniors and at a low cost for Juniors.

Come by Whataburger on Saturday October 4, 2025 between 4pm - 9pm and 10% of sales will be donated to our High School!

Thunderbird Wrestling Club - Parent Night

Join the Thunderbird Wrestling Club for a Parent Info Night on October 13th at 6:00pm in the Middle School Cafeteria.

SHHS Band

Come help support the high school band on October 18th from 9am-3pm, we will have several food trucks and vendors for you to enjoy!

Haunted Corn Maze

Join our Orchestra students for a spooky good time on October 24th at 25th from 6-9:00pm at Shively Farms! Enjoy live music and food trucks as well as everything else Shively Farms has to offer. Buy Tickets Here

Trunk or Treat

The FFA is hosting a Trunk or Treat on October 30, 2025 from 6:30pm - 8:00pm. Visit the SHMS parking lot to trick-or-treat various trunks and grab a bite to eat at the food trucks.
