WOW! We are almost through the third quarter! This year has gone by FAST!
As we come back from Spring Break, we will kickoff State Assessments for 3rd-6th graders. All grades will take the English Language Arts and Mathematics State Assessments, with 5th graders taking the Science State Assessment as well. I know our students are going to ROCK THE TEST!
Below is the link to our State Assessment schedule. If your student is in 3rd-6th grades, please check the schedule to ensure they are present on the days they will be taking their assessment. Also, please ensure your student gets a good night's sleep and a good breakfast each morning before their assessment. Lastly, please ensure that your student has WIRED headphones, as BlueTooth headphones are not permitted for use per KSDE policy. Lastly, SmartWatches are not permitted to be worn during the State Assessments. If your student wears a SmartWatch, they will be asked to take it off and place it in their backpacks. This is also aligns with KSDE policy.

Camp Invention will be back at TNES this summer for TWO weeks!
Students currently in grades 1st-5th for THIS school year are welcome to attend and will be given priority. Students in grades Kindergarten and 6th will be placed on a wait list, but should still register by the due date if they are interested in attending.
Please read the description and fill-out the linked form by Friday, April 4th.
REMINDER – ALL school fees need to be paid prior to the end of the current school year.
This balance may be paid via the RevTrak parent portal https://usd450.revtrak.net/ ( There are two separate logins required, One for Student Fees and one for Food Service "lunch" ). You may send fees (Cash, Check or Money order) in a sealed envelope with your student to school or you may mail check/money order to the school office at 314 SE Stanton Rd. Tecumseh, KS. 66542
