Greetings SHES Families,

We had a wonderful turnout for our student led parent teacher conferences! We had 96% of our families attend spring conferences. Thank you for your continued partnership with us as we focus on academics, behavior and social skills with our students.

We are incredibly grateful to our wonderful families who have contributed to our current PTO fundraiser, “Tattoo the Teacher”. Teachers and staff members received their tattoos today and will come to school on Friday, March 6th, with their wonderful tattoo collection! We will be sure to share pictures!

We would love to see many of our SHES families for our Pettit Scholarship Dinner on Thursday, April 2nd. The proceeds from this event support our scholarship winners.

Happy March, Thunderbolts! 

We have officially kicked off state-testing season with the KELPA (Kansas English-Language Proficiency Assessment.) The Kansas Assessment Program (KAP) will begin later this month. Our building-wide testing calendar is below for your reference.

We have had a bit of an increase in bus-conduct reports over the past month. Please take a moment to review our policies and procedures and remind your student(s) of expectations. These help us to ensure that we get our Thunderbolts to and from school safely!
