Parent Teacher Conference Sign Up- Click here to sign up for a parent teacher conference time. 5th and 6th graders parents conferences are shorter in length to allow parents to visit the Math, Language Arts, and Science/Social Studies teacher if they would like.

BES Transportation Changes- Just a reminder that all transportation changes need to be emailed directly to both Mrs. Tanya Howbert at howbertt@usd450.net and Mrs. Miranda Moore at moorem2@usd450.net by 3 pm.

BES Clinic- We'd like to welcome Aly Price to our Buffalo Family as our new Registered Nurse.  Mrs. Price will be in the clinic each day and can be contacted at pricea@usd450.net. 

PTO- We have PTO (Parent Teacher Organization) on Tuesday, October 14th in the BES Library at 6:30 pm. There will be light snacks at the meeting for the adults that join and childcare will be provided for children ages 3 and up. The class that has the most adults join the PTO Meeting will earn a popcorn party.

We have been super busy in art this week!

6th Grade – Our young artists are drawing cemeteries and learning tons of new techniques including shading, one-point perspective, vanishing points, and how to make things look 3D!

4th & 5th Grade – These grades are hard at work on their Music/Art Show projects for November! 4th graders are loving their Elvis bottle buddies, while 5th graders are really digging their cardboard guitars!

2nd & 3rd Grade – Also preparing for the show! 2nd graders are finishing up their adorable reindeer school pictures, and 3rd graders are wrapping up their colorful nutcrackers!

1st Grade – First graders are creating owls in 3D trees—they look amazing!

Kindergarten – Our youngest artists are learning about warm and cool colors through fun, hands-on art activities.

It’s been a creative and colorful week in the art room! 🎨✨
